Nina Simonds recently visited Cooks Shop Here to interview us for her book review of The Story of Tea: A Cultural History and Drinking Guide, which appeared in the September 19, 2007 Dining In/Dining Out Section of the NY Times.

Nina is so enthusiastic about  our book that she decided to film a vlog entitled Unlocking the Secrets of Tea for her website Spices of Life as well. She and videographer extra-ordinaire Steve Garfield, created the vlog which you can view on her site.

We're honored that Nina took such an interest in us, our book, and the subject of tea. Thank you Nina and Steve!

“With the publication of this encyclopedic and generously detailed guide, we now have a reference to consult for the what, where, when, who, how, or why of any tea. Reading THE STORY OF TEA, we get caught up in the mysteries and traditions of tea growing and processing.”
