We have always had a
passion for the richness and meticulous detail of fine French
chocolate. When we visited the Michel Cluizel chocolate
factory in Normandy, France, we discovered that all of the
fillings for their chocolate bon bons are painstakingly
prepared in house by the Cluizel staff. Additionally, Michel
Cluizel chocolate is fabricated in house from raw cacao beans
in order to insure the rich, signature Michel Cluizel
‘flavor.’

Everest Tea, Hand-Rolled in Nepal
A simply gorgeous slightly-twisted, extra long leaf orthodox black tea
from a Nepalese tea garden located in the Sindhupalchok district
of Central Nepal. These tea gardens lie in a valley north of the
city of Kathmandu at an elevation of nearly 6,000 feet, and are
considered to be the closest tea gardens to the hallowed ground of
lofty Mt. Everest. This tea is blessed with the clean, snappy
flavor that is the signature of high-altitude grown tea. We
commissioned this tea estate to make this wonderful tea for us
because we wanted to give our tea enthusiast customers the
opportunity to experience this special tea.

These tea cakes were originally made to endure the
arduous trip over the historic Tea Horse Route , a tea caravan
trail that extended from Yunnan, China up over the Tibetan
Plateau and beyond. Compressed cakes of Yunnan tea are still
