Fancy Silver Tips is a traditionally-styled Ceylon tea that transcends place or reputation. While it is a classic and purely-flavored Ceylon tea, Fancy Silver Tips has an abundance of style in the cup, which increases the enjoyment that this quality Ceylon tea provides.

Fancy Silver Tips has an elegant leaf structure and a bounty of tip. Fancy Silver Tips tea has a clear taste on the palate and a medium finish which will linger on your palate if it is drunk black or with lemon, but not if dairy is added to the cup.

Fancy Silver Tips leaf is larger than other Ceylon leaf, so a moderately generous measure is required when steeping the tea. Remember though, that one will still obtain the usual number of measures per weight (+/- 50 cups per quarter-pound), as more leaf will be used per cup.

This is a tippy tea, and you may find it possible to steep a second cup from the leaf - try a little less water for this re-steeping (or a pinch of fresh leaf can be added to boost up the flavor).

Fancy Silver Tips is also delicious served cold or when used for sweet tea in the southern fashion.

Use 1.5 teaspoons (2-3 grams) per 6 oz of water
Steep 1 infusion at 3 - 5 minutes.
Water temperature should be 190˚ - 200˚ F
