Gold-Flecked Emerald Tips tea is from the heart of China’s tea production, Anhui Province. When we tasted this tea near its garden on our first trip to China, this was one of the teas that we were so excited about that we knew that we had to have more of it every year.

It is an extremely unusual tea; it is a green tea, but has much of the character of a floral oolong. Gold-Flecked Emerald Tips tea is soft, lush and round, with an aroma that is also reminiscent of a great oolong. However, it has a subtle briskness that easily identifies it as a proud member of the spring-harvested green tea family. Beautiful in its dry form, whet form and in the cup, Gold-Flecked Emerald Tips tea is one of those green teas that just satisfies completely, on every aesthetic level. A true beauty.

Steep 2-3 infusions at 2 minutes each.
Water temperature should be 170˚ - 180˚ F
