Hojicha is
made late in the tea season from bancha leaf ( large
leaf that is positioned on the lower part of the tea
branches ) that is roasted to give it a hearty flavor
for cold weather warming.
Use 1.5 Tablespoons (2-3 grams)
per 6 oz of water
Steep 2-3 infusions at 2 minutes
each.
Water temperature should be 175˚ - 185˚ F |
