In Zhejiang Province top-notch, fresh, autumn jasmine flowers are added to this very unusually-prepared leaf. The leaf, prepared in the spring as is the tradition, is slightly "balled" or rolled in style which creates an elegant appearance and beautiful re-hydrated leaf. This style of leaf holds the jasmine scenting particularly well, but does require the use of more flowers to permeate the reduced surface area of the leaf.

We discovered Jasmine Amber Nuggets when we were looking for unusual green and white teas from Zhejiang and were presented with this in addition to the traditional, non-scented teas that we were tasting. This lightly-scented Jasmine tea is quite refreshing and clean-tssting, with little lingering after-taste. Jasmine Amber Nuggets is exquisite, and a delightful addition to our jasmine offerings.

Steep 2-3 infusions at 3 minutes each.
Water temperature should be 170˚ - 180˚ F
The Jasmine scenting will dissipate after the first infusion, but the tea will brew perfectly well again.
