Bai Mudan is a modern form of white tea, developed to supply the demand for white tea that cannot be fulfilled by the limited amount of Yin Zhen (Silver Needles) available each year.

Manufactured using the same air-drying methods used for Yin Zhen, Bai Mudan has a slightly higher level of oxidation, so it has a more pronounced, rich flavor.

Smooth and mouth-filling, Bai Mudan is delicious hot or cold, but should only be steeped in water around 160°-170° F to prevent scorching the leaf and extracting unwanted bitterness.

Use 1 heaping Tablespoon per 6 oz of water
Steep 2-3 infusions at 2 minutes each.
Water temperature should be 160˚ - 170˚ F
